ODL programs have helped departments throughout the university to achieve their organizational improvement goals:
Assisting departments in self-assessment, and in identifying and building faculty and staff consensus on current organizational strengths and improvement priorities.

Assisting departments in assessing service satisfaction and program awareness, and gaining input into important university initiatives.

Building upon self-assessments, external reviews, self-studies or accreditation reports to assist in the development of future-oriented strategic and action plans that translate recommendations into meaningful improvements.

Providing tools for assessing and enhancing the workplace climate and culture of departments.

Organizational Research Services
Providing research support services in the areas of interviewing, focus groups, and survey construction and analysis to assist academic units in gathering information from students, colleagues, or other internal and external constituencies for which programs or services are provided.
